The Seasons Change

As fall ends, one leaf falls.
As winter reins, the trees are bare and cold.
As spring arrives, the trees dance in the wind.
Through the summer, leaves have grown, wind blows, and life has returned.
All too soon, the trees cry for it hurts to loose a part of itself,
And with winter on the way, the trees leave us behind into a slumber.
They still dance in the wind to show us that they are still there,
But not coming back till the spring wind blows.   By Kyle

  1. This is a wonderful free verse poem Kyle. I love how you use personification to show the emotion of the seasons and their commings and goings.
