Lightening

The vibrant neon strip of burning electricity lightens the sky during a big storm. The cold teardrops from the fluffy black clouds pitter- patter on my roof. Loud booms of thunder followed by the crack of lightning sends a cold chill down my spine. What really makes lightning burst its way through the sky? This question still remains unanswered in my mind.  By Jasmine

  3. First of all I would like to point out your use of neon yellow text just like lightning in the sky!!!! Great Job! Reading your piece puts me right in the middle of a storm. I love your use of adjectives from the pitter patter of rain on the roof to the loud boom the thunder makes. I too have felt that cold shiver down my spine from a crack of lighting. Excellent job!!! :0)
